Abstract

The ancient site of Mosasir, located in Rabat city in Sardasht city, is one of the most important historical-cultural centers, which is exposed to natural and unnatural dangers according to field surveys and studies. Therefore, the problem in this research is to prevent its destruction and preserve it. Because, until the vulnerability of the ancient sites is determined, it is not possible to implement a program to protect them. Therefore, the main goal of the research is to investigate and analyze the role of effective natural factors (slope, land use, geology, rainfall, height and distance from the fault line) in the process of protecting or destroying the ancient site of Mosasir. ArcGIS software was used to prepare the information of these factors and TOPSIS model was used to rank them. Determining the weight and importance of each of the criteria was done by 8 academic experts in the AHP model and Expert Choice program as a pairwise comparison. According to the results of the research, the ancient site of Mosasir is located in the low vulnerability category and the factors of height, slope and distance from the fault line had the greatest effect on its destruction. Due to the location of the region in receiving rainfall, and the Zab river in the areas close to the historical site of Mosasir, the cause of rainfall and consequently the intensification of the occurrence of floods can also intensify the destruction processes. Considering the conformity of the results obtained from the implementation of TOPSIS and AHP models with the reality in the study area and the value of the consistency index of 0.09, it can be concluded that the zoning map of geographical factors in the destruction of the ancient site of Mosasir with the mentioned models can be a The scientific solution should be suitable for the authorities.
