Historical earthquakes are very important and are used to present cultural changes and developments. Considering the earthquake-proneness of Iran's plateau, this topic can play an important role in the interpretations of historical texts and in filling the study gaps in the archaeological excavations of historical periods, especially the Islamic era. In the Islamic era, there are many cities where historical earthquakes were undoubtedly effective in explaining their urban life, and as evidenced by the texts of cities such as Neyshabur, Ray, Jurjan, and Tabriz, etc., they were vulnerable to this event. Neyshabur is one of the most important Islamic cities, which was very important in cultural, social, political and economic developments in the first and middle Islamic centuries. Various developments have occurred in this city, which are necessary to look at from the perspective of historical earthquakes. According to what has been mentioned, the study and interpretation of earthquakes with the help of archaeological texts and data and their role in the evolution of Neyshabur is considered the most important goal. The most important question is why the decline and collapse of human communities in the ancient city of Neyshabur and as a result the historic site of Shadiyah in the first and middle Islamic centuries. The method used is the historical approach, in addition to using the new ancient science of seismology, first the important historical texts about the Neyshabur earthquakes have been interpreted and then the archaeological evidence has been examined to point out the role of historical earthquakes in the future. They have had a happy life. The results of this research and analysis of the statistical community show that perhaps the numerous historical earthquakes that have been mentioned many times in important historical texts, along with the archaeological evidence of earthquakes, are one of the most important factors in the abandonment of Shadyakh and the relocation of its urban area to another place.
